Citrus solvent
Citrus solvent is an eco-friendly cleaner used to thin natural oils and clean oil stains on surrounding surfaces. In addition, citrus solvent can dissolve resins and waxes. It can therefore strip waxed or oiled wood furniture. It is also an excellent degreaser. This alternative to turpentine or mineral spirits is a solvent made from plant-based essence extracted from citrus peels. It is colorless and contains no petroleum products: a very pleasant product to work with and one that poses less risk to health.

Citrus solvent is ideal for:
- thinning natural oils
- thinning artists’ oil paints
- dissolving resins and waxes
- stripping waxed or oiled wood floors and furniture
- cleaning greasy surfaces, removing lettering adhesive on vehicles without leaving marks
Safety tips
Even though this product is pleasant to use and poses fewer health risks than other solvents, it is recommended to work in a ventilated area to avoid too high a concentration of vapors. Wear safety glasses and gloves, and keep out of reach of children.
