    Contaminants such as grease, oils, or cleaning agents must be completely removed, as they can impair adhesion between the wood surface and the coating. The use of Osmo Intensive Cleaner<\/strong> is recommended.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Proper sanding for a hardwax oil finish opens the wood grain, ensures uniform oil absorption, and creates a smooth surface without clogging pores. Skipping this step or sanding incorrectly can lead to uneven color, a rough texture, and reduced durability. <\/span> <\/span>We recommend 120 grit for floors and 180 grit for furniture. <\/span><\/p>\n

    Application<\/h3>\n

    Stir the finish well before use.<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Polyx\u00ae-Oil is easily applied with a cloth, brush, roller, or single-disc machine.<\/p>\n

    1. Using the microfiber roller or Osmo floor brush, apply Polyx\u00ae-Oil in a thin, even coat in the direction of the wood grain.<\/span><\/li>\n
    2. Do not remove excess product; it will be absorbed by the wood surface during the drying period.<\/b><\/li>\n
