    How to apply<\/h2>\n

    The colors of Osmo Decorative Wax Finish<\/strong> can be mixed together to create new shades. Mix only a small amount and adjust the percentages to achieve a lighter or darker shade. Write down your formulas so you can reproduce them later.<\/p>\n

    Mixes must be made exclusively between Decorative Wax Finishes<\/strong>, not with other Osmo products.<\/p>\n

    If the product has thickened due to freezing, it will return to a normal consistency at room temperature within 24\u201336 hours.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Furniture use<\/h3>\n

    Stir the finish well before use.<\/span><\/p>\n

      \n
    1. Using <\/span>an Osmo natural-bristle brush <\/span>or a non-abrasive white pad, apply Decorative Wax Finish in a thin, even coat in the direction of the grain. Brush out to remove overlap lines or stop marks. Mistakes can be corrected up to 30 minutes after the first application.<\/span><\/li>\n
    2. For a transparent color \u2013 <\/b>15\u201320 minutes after application, wipe with a clean, lint-free cloth or a white pad in the direction of the wood grain to remove excess finish.<\/span><\/li>\n
    3. For an intense color \u2013 <\/b>let dry (step 4), then repeat the process after the first coat has dried (apply a maximum of 2 coats). We recommend using an Osmo microfiber pad for the second coat.<\/span><\/li>\n
    4. Drying time: approx. 12\u201324 hours (normal climatic conditions, 23\u00b0C \/ 50% relative humidity). Lower temperatures and\/or higher humidity may extend drying time. Ensure the room is well ventilated.<\/span><\/li>\n
    5. Extra protection:<\/strong> Osmo TopOil or Osmo Polyx\u00ae-Oil can be applied as a topcoat for improved durability.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Curing time: <\/b>Like all finishes, Osmo Decorative Wax Finish requires curing time. <\/span>We recommend allowing 2\u20133 weeks for the surface to fully cure.<\/span><\/p>\n

      Floor use<\/h3>\n

      **Important \u2013 Only one coat of tinted<\/b> Decorative Wax Finish may be applied to bare wood floors, because the second coat must be a clear coat of Polyx\u00ae-Oil.<\/strong><\/p>\n

      Shake the finish well before use.<\/p>\n

      1. Spread Osmo Decorative Wax Finish on the floor using an Osmo double blade trowel, then, using a single-disc floor machine and a non-abrasive white pad, buff the product into a thin, even coat over the entire surface.<\/li>\n

      3. Drying time: approx. 12\u201324 hours (normal climatic conditions, 23\u00b0C \/ 50% relative humidity).<\/li>\n
