The eco-friendly Livos Meldos oil is your ally for long-term protection of your sauna wood. It is specially designed to reduce moisture absorption, preventing warping, swelling, and cupping of the wood. Its heat-resistant formula protects the wood against cracking and discoloration from high temperatures.
This impregnating oil can be used on softwoods such as cedar to preserve and enhance the wood’s appearance. Livos Meldos oil nourishes the wood, making it shine while preserving its texture and color, highlighting its natural beauty. Can be applied on walls, floors, and benches.

Drying time
8 to 16 hours for the first coat and approximately 16 to 24 hours for subsequent coats

Coverage
Approximately 25 m² or 250 sq ft / 2.5 liters

Conduct a test beforehand to determine coverage.
Application
1 to 3 coats can be applied by brush or sprayer
Depending on absorption, after 20-30 minutes, wipe off excess product that has not penetrated the wood fiber. A wet-on-wet application can be done to wood saturation.
Preparation
Wood must be dry and free of dirt
Uniform hand sanding with 180 grit
Usage tips
Ensure proper ventilation during application and drying. Combustion risk. After use, place rags in water or dry them flat.
Tool cleaning
Clean equipment with SVALOS Thinner No. 222 immediately after use
