The perfect restorer for your deck!
Product description
Description
Has your deck wood turned gray and dull? Gray weathering of exterior wood is a common result of exposure to UV rays and the elements. This happens especially when it has not been protected by a tinted finish. Before applying the best product, you must properly prepare your wood. Osmo Wood Restorer Gel will be essential for your project at this stage.
Since you must avoid staining or oiling over weathered gray wood fiber, Osmo Wood Restorer Concentrated Gel will save you a lot of time! Just one or two applications are enough to restore life to wooden decks, wood siding, garden furniture, and fences.
Easy to use, Osmo Wood Restorer Concentrated Gel does not drip. It can therefore also be easily applied to vertical surfaces. The gray patina is effectively removed thanks to the deep action of the gel, which reduces the sanding effort required afterward.
Are you motivated by the idea of having a beautiful restored “de-grayed” wood deck this summer? Now is the time to get to work with Osmo Wood Restorer Concentrated Gel on all your surfaces that need it!

IMPORTANT
It is important that the wood be dry enough before receiving protection, otherwise moisture will prevent absorption of the finish.
Notes:
Test the surface before treatment with the Power Restorer Gel.
Protect metals (such as hardware) and plants from direct contact (e.g. cover plants with a protective tarp).
Do not expose to frost or temperatures above 30°C.
Q&A
Q1- What is Osmo Wood Restorer Concentrated Gel used for?
A- Osmo Power Restorer Gel is used to remove gray weathering caused by UV and the elements on exterior wood. Its gel formula acts deep down to revive the natural color of the wood without dripping, even on vertical surfaces.
Q2- Do I need to apply a finish after the restorer?
A- Yes. After complete drying (24–48 hrs), it is recommended to apply an Osmo tinted exterior oil to protect the wood durably and preserve the restored color.
Q3– Is Osmo restorer gel eco-friendly?
A- Its formulation contains biodegradable oxalic acid (<5%), without solvents, formaldehyde, chlorine, or amines. It offers powerful action while being more environmentally friendly than conventional restorers. However, it must be kept out of reach of children or pets. It may cause an allergic reaction. Avoid contact with eyes, skin, or clothing.
Q4- How do I apply Osmo Power Restorer Gel?
A- Simply clean the surface, dampen it, then apply the gel generously in the direction of the grain. After about 20 minutes, scrub with a stiff brush and rinse thoroughly. The product is ready to use and must not be diluted.
Q5- Does Osmo Power Restorer Gel pose a risk to metal elements?
A- Yes, since it contains oxalic acid, Osmo Power Restorer Gel can react with certain unprotected metals (raw steel, aluminum, iron). This reaction can cause dark stains, discoloration, or the start of corrosion if the product remains in contact too long.
To avoid any problems, it is advisable to protect hardware, screws, railings, furniture feet, or any metal elements located nearby. If the gel accidentally touches metal, simply rinse immediately with plenty of water to neutralize the effect
