Protective varnish for metals
Les Anciens Ébénistes metal spray varnish protects your decorative metals from oxidation. It adheres easily to different surfaces, and its aerosol format makes it easy to apply varnish to small objects. It is also impact-resistant and helps reduce the risk of scratches, and it can be removed easily with cellulose thinner. This is an acrylic varnish.
Use:
Prevents oxidation of decorative metals indoors: ornaments, lighting fixtures, frames, nameplates.
Preparation:
The surface must be cleaned of all traces of oxidation using the Metal Deoxidizer. For a more attractive result, treat the surface with the Metal Brightener/Polish. Choose a sheltered spot out of the wind to use your aerosol for optimal results.
How to apply:
-Shake the aerosol vigorously before use.
-Avoid heat and wind to achieve a smooth finish and prevent air bubbles from forming
-Hold the aerosol 20–30 cm from the object.
-Press the trigger in short bursts, spraying from top to bottom.
Once you have finished spraying, it is important to turn the aerosol upside down (trigger facing down) and spray for a few seconds. This purges the trigger so the varnish does not dry inside it and block it.
