The Osmo Composite Decking Cleaner is an alkaline-based concentrated formula designed for deep cleaning of wood-polymer composites (WPC/BPC) and other waterproof materials. Versatile, the intensive cleaner is ideal for reviving composite decks, garden furniture, and fences. It effectively removes organic and inorganic dirt, restoring surfaces to their original appearance.
You can adjust the dilution of the concentrate according to the job at hand, which avoids wasting product.

How to apply
Preparation
Remove dust and all solid debris from the surface by sweeping or brushing.
Dilute the cleaning concentrate in a ratio of 1:10 to 1:20 with water depending on the degree of dirt adhered to the surface. This will allow you to adjust the mixture proportions afterward. (1 part concentrate to 20 parts water being the most diluted mixture, will therefore be the mildest)
A compatibility test of the mixture on a less visible part of the surface is highly recommended before starting cleaning to verify the effect and effectiveness. (May lead to discoloration or changes on unknown substrates.)
Application method
- Once the concentrate is diluted to your preference in the appropriate ratio, apply the solution uniformly to the surface. (Using a sprayer or directly with a wide brush)
- During application, avoid direct contact with ornamental or agricultural plants and do not use the undiluted product.
- Always apply to the entire surface after the compatibility test to prevent a visible difference in material appearance by section.
- Using the Osmo deck brush or a similar stiff scrub brush, allow to work and scrub the surface for 10 minutes. You will be able to remove dirt and residue while ensuring the cleaner does not dry on the surface in the sun.
- Rinse thoroughly with clean water to remove the cleaner and contaminants.
- For large surfaces or more efficient cleaning, we recommend using the Osmo deck and floor cleaning machine.
This intensive cleaner is not intended for daily cleaning.

A – No, it is a concentrate that will be far too strong for your materials and may damage them if not diluted at least 1 part to 10 parts water. Dilute the concentrate with water in a ratio of 1:10 to 1:20, depending on the level of dirt.
Q2 – What can I do if the cleaning product spread on the surface starts to dry in the blazing sun?
A – The product must never dry on the surface without being rinsed with water. You can spray a mist of water on the surface with your garden hose while cleaning.

A – No, this product provides intensive cleaning, which could prematurely wear the surface if used too regularly. Annual or semi-annual cleaning is appropriate with the product.
Q4 – It’s summer, it’s hot, and I want to clean my deck with this product in sandals. Is that appropriate?
A – No, wear rain boots or waterproof shoes to protect your skin because the cleaner can cause skin irritation.
Q5 – How should I store the product and what is its shelf life?
A – The product keeps for approximately 2 years or more if the container is kept dry, tightly closed, and stored between temperatures of 5 and 35 Celsius. Do not expose to freezing during transport or storage.
