This concentrated solution based on natural vegetable oils (5–15% vegetable soaps) effectively cleans wood surfaces that have been neglected. The water-dilutable formula easily adapts to the level of dirt on your wood surface. Whether it is a deck or garden furniture, untreated or already oiled, it provides fast, easy, deep maintenance.

How to apply
Preparation
Sweep debris, leaves, and twigs off the deck to remove all solid matter before cleaning. Always perform an application test on a small, less visible area before starting a project to assess compatibility and the final cleaning result.
Mixing ratio
Add Osmo Deck Cleaner to water to clean.
The mixing ratio depends on the level of dirt on the wood surface:
- For a low concentration, mix 1 part cleaner to 25 parts water.
- For a very high concentration, mix 1 part cleaner to 1 part water.
- Any amount between these values can be used as needed, e.g., 5:1, 10:1, 15:1, etc.
How to apply
- Clean the surface along the length of the board and in the direction of the wood grain. Scrub using a stiff broom or a deck brush, such as the Osmo Deck Scrubbing Brush.
- After cleaning the wood deck, rinse with clean water and let the surface dry.
- Before applying the new finish, let the wood dry (approx. 24–48 hours). At low temperatures and/or high humidity, drying time increases significantly.
- To refresh and treat areas that have already greyed, we recommend using Osmo Wood Reviver Power-Gel instead.
- Once the surface is dry, we recommend applying a pigmented protection to the wood to prevent greying. For example, Osmo Wood Deck Oil.
Note: Avoid any direct contact of Osmo Deck Cleaner with plants, animals, and garden decorations. Protect your eyes and skin.

Q1- Can I use this cleaner on a surface protected with a stain or an oil?
A- Yes, you only need to adjust the dilution of the concentrate sufficiently (e.g., 1 to 20) and test on a board to check the effect. A solution that is not diluted enough could affect your protection.
Q2- Can the product revive a deck that has already greyed?
A- The cleaner removes dirt, but to revive a greyed surface, Osmo recommends Wood Reviver Power-Gel. If you already have the cleaner on hand, you can try it with a very lightly diluted solution to check the effect.
Q3- How should I store the product?
A- Up to 5 years or more in its original, tightly closed container.
Do not expose to frost or temperatures above 30°C (86°F).
Q4- How long should I let it dry before applying a finishing oil?
A- Let the wood dry for 24–48 hours. (Time may increase if the temperature is low or humidity is high.) The wood must be dry enough to accept the protective oil. Otherwise, water in the wood will cause the finish to repel, which is not always visible.
