Exteria Exterior Deck Oil by Ligna
EXTERIA by Ligna is a protective exterior wood sealer made from natural oils. Exteria protects planed, rough, thermally modified, cedar, ipe, and pressure-treated wood. It provides protection against water, insects, fungi, and UV rays.
Use on all your exterior surfaces: patio, deck, exterior wood siding, wood trim, windows, deck, outdoor furniture, etc.
Exteria oil will not peel or flake; it penetrates the wood and bonds deep within. No stripping or scraping needed to refresh the finish.
To protect the wood, it is necessary to apply two coats of tinted Exteria oil. Pigments in tinted oils protect against UV rays.

How to apply :
- Prepare the surface with 80-grit sandpaper using a 5″ orbital sander to remove the mill glaze.
- Apply using a brush, pad, or cloth
- After a few minutes, wipe the treated surface with a cloth or pad to help the oil penetrate the wood pores and remove excess oil.
- Allow 8 to 24 hours of drying time before applying a second coat of oil, without sanding.
- After this time, lightly sand with 180-grit sandpaper before applying the second coat.

We encourage you to test first on a small area to ensure the desired colour is accurate. WARNING! The CLEAR NATURAL colour, as it contains no pigment, provides no protection against wood greying. The BLEACHED 17 colour is not available because it cannot provide adequate UV protection. The HONEY colour offers minimal protection and must be refreshed much sooner than the other shades.
