Terrazzo is an indoor/outdoor non-slip coating designed to replicate granite texture. It is an ideal product for making surfaces non-slip and elegant: you can achieve a granite look without demolishing and installing new tiles. Thanks to its unique texture, Terrazzo also fills and conceals superficial cracks.
Terrazzo is the ideal product to make your floors safe, as its robust stone finish is non-slip. It is also resistant to chemicals and UV rays, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor application.

Pro Tips:
- New concrete must cure for at least 30 days before applying Terrazzo non-slip coating.
- Allow to dry for at least 24h before applying the sealer.

* Displayed colors may vary depending on screen, wood grain, texture, porosity, as well as preparation and application method. We encourage you to perform a test on a small surface beforehand to ensure the accuracy of the desired color.
Preparation:
The surface must be stable, clean, dry, free of oils, dust, dirt, paint residues, efflorescence, and other contaminants. Eliminate contaminants by cleaning.
- Dilute Krud Kutter cleaner according to the nature of the contaminants to be removed. If there are traces of oil embedded in the concrete, you can use Oil Grabber degreaser for spot application on stains.
- Spray onto the surface with a garden pump sprayer, then scrub with a nylon brush. It is also possible to use a pressure washer to avoid the scrubbing step.
- Rinse with clear water.
- If there are residues of old paint/sealer, it should be mechanically removed by sanding. Remove dust once sanding is complete.
Apply Terrazzo Non-Slip Coating
Apply Terrazzo by pouring it directly onto the floor, then spreading it with the Terrazzo roller.
- Vigorously mix the Terrazzo from bottom to top of the container until there is no clumping and the mixture is homogeneous. To facilitate mixing, use a paint mixer.
- Before applying the non-slip coating, dampen the Terrazzo roller by dipping it in a bucket of water. Then wring out excess water from the roller. This step will facilitate spreading the coating later.
- Pour a puddle of Terrazzo non-slip coating approximately 10 to 12 inches in diameter, starting from one corner of the surface to be covered.
- Use the Terrazzo roller and spread the puddle of non-slip coating over an area of approximately 3 to 4 square feet. Press firmly on the roller to use it like a squeegee and spread the Terrazzo coating.
- Once the coating is spread, roll over it again, this time applying lighter pressure to roll the roller, thus evening out the surface.
- Pour a new puddle of coating and spread. Continue this process until the entire surface is covered.
- Allow to dry for 24 h.
- Apply a 2nd coat following the same steps as for the first coat.
- Allow to dry for another 24 h.
- Apply 2 coats of TracSafe sealer to seal and protect the surface.
Restrictions:
- Apply at temperatures between 10°C and 29°C.
- Do not apply directly under sunlight or if the surface is hot/has been heated by the sun.
