Paint & Stain Gel Remover Stripper
Description
The Passport Elite Super-Strength Stripper for interior and exterior use removes latex, oil, and epoxy paints, urethane and latex varnishes, surface stains, and all types of glue. Its ultra-fast action removes five or more layers. It has a low odor and is water-washable. This product is safe for wood, concrete, and metals.
Usage
Before stripping, it is important to know that each stripping project is unique, and the product’s reactivity and action time will vary depending on the coating to be stripped and the tools used.
Indoors: Use the Super-Strength Stripper in a well-ventilated area.
Outdoors: Avoid using the Super-Strength Stripper directly in sunlight. Use the product at a temperature between 10°C and 25°C in a well-ventilated area. Do not use on a rainy day, as the Super-Strength Stripper is neutralized by water. Do not use on a windy day, as the Super-Strength Stripper is a volatile solvent.
Pour the Super-Strength Stripper directly onto the surface to be stripped. Using a natural bristle brush, spread the product so that a layer of at least 3 mm, equivalent to the thickness of two $2 coins, covers the surface to be stripped. Dab corners, moldings, and patterns so that the product works into crevices. Allow to act for a minimum of 15 minutes. Do not rush this step, but do not let the product dry. Allow more time if the coating is very resistant or if there are many layers.
Once the surface is ready for stripping, use a spatula or scraper to remove stripping residue. Using a stripping pad and a little Super-Strength Stripper, remove any remaining coating. Use a pointed tool or a tapered wooden dowel for corners and patterns.
For wood stripping: Always work in the direction of the wood grain to avoid damaging it. Once stripping is complete, if desired, use methyl hydrate to thoroughly clean the surface.
