The Osmo Intensive Cleaner powerful concentrate is designed for demanding projects and is ideal for deep cleaning!
Imagine being spared the grueling scrubbing and sanding required before reapplying finishing oil or wax to your surfaces.
This highly effective special concentrate cleaner is slightly alkaline to remove organic and inorganic dirt from interior and exterior surfaces.
It is effective for deep cleaning or even stripping all oiled and waxed wood surfaces. Osmo Intensive Cleaner is an ideal alternative to sanding when preparing for restoration projects on hardwood floors, furniture, as well as plastic and steel surfaces. Note that the cleaner has a low odor and becomes odorless after drying, but it is not suitable for daily cleaning.

DRYING
Do not leave on the surface for more than approximately 5 to 10 minutes.
Rinse with clean water.
Allow the washed surface to dry completely for at least 3 to 4 hours before applying oil or wax.
How to apply
DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Dilute the concentrate in water following the ratio required for your needs.
It is recommended to perform a test application of the diluted product as the cleaner can lead to damage or discoloration on surfaces with unknown finishes. Wood species rich in extractives (such as oak) will discolor upon contact with undiluted Intensive Cleaner.
Mixing ratio:
- 1 part cleaner to 20 parts water: intensive cleaning before re-oiling.
- 1 part cleaner to 10 parts water: stripping surfaces covered with oil-wax.
- Never use Osmo Intensive Cleaner undiluted or leave it on the surface for more than 5-10 minutes.
- Do not allow unrinsed product to dry on the surface.
1- Apply the cleaning solution to the soiled area to loosen dirt deposits.
2- Loosen dirt by scrubbing with a brush for a maximum of 5 to 10 minutes.
3- Then rinse the cleaner by removing dirt deposits with clean water using the Osmo Micro-Mop Plush or a lint-free cotton cloth. (Never leave unrinsed cleaner on the wood surface.)
4- After complete drying (3-4 h), recoat the oiled or waxed surfaces with an Osmo wood finish, such as Osmo Polyx-Oil.
When using floor machines, we recommend using a single-disc machine (e.g. Osmo FloorXcenter) with a red pad for intensive cleaning and a green pad for stripping.

No, it is designed for occasional intensive cleaning, not for regular maintenance. - Can I use it on all wood species?
Yes, but be careful: woods rich in tannins (e.g. oak) may discolor if the product is used undiluted. - How long should I wait before re-oiling?
Allow to dry for 3 to 4 hours before applying an Osmo finish. - Can this cleaner damage my oiled floor?
If the product is not sufficiently diluted or if undiluted product falls on the surface, the surface coloration may be affected.
