Description
All-purpose sealer/primer 100& acrylic PRIME-ALL
Description:
PRIME ALL AP-1000 100% acrylic interior/exterior primer is suitable for many surfaces requiring a sealing or an undercoat. In addition to its resistance to mildew and splatter, it offers excellent flow and leveling properties, helping to hide most imperfections. This low-odor primer dries quickly.
Use:
Indoors, use PRIME ALL AP-1000 all-purpose sealer/primer 100% acrylic on the following new or previously painted surfaces: wood, plywood, drywall, ceiling tiles, FormicaMD, MasoniteMD, ceramic tiles, and cured joint compound plaster.
May also be used as an undercoat to facilitate the installation or removal of wallcoverings.
This bonding primer also serves as an undercoat for transitioning from oil-based paint to a future application of water-based paint, provided surface preparation is adequate.
Outdoors, PRIME ALL AP-1000 all-purpose sealer/primer 100% acrylic can be used on the following new or previously painted surfaces: wood, aluminum, hardboard, vinyl siding, sawn or split shingles, concrete, masonry, brick, and non-ferrous metals.

How to apply
Surface preparation:
Before applying PRIME ALL AP-1000 all-purpose sealer/primer 100% acrylic, ensure the surface to be painted is clean, dry, and free of any contaminants. Repair cracks and cover nail heads with patching plaster or a suitable patching compound.
On resinous woods, knots and sap streaks must first be sealed with a shellac-containing primer such as Passeport Élite Stain-Blocking Sealer Primer to prevent tannin bleed.
Properly dull glossy areas by sanding to maximize undercoat adhesion, such as surfaces like Formica, ceramic tiles, and glossy painted surfaces before application.
Remove any peeling paint and sand these areas to feather edges into adjacent surfaces.
Drywall surfaces must be free of sanding dust.
Application method:
Start by cutting in and clearing corners using a polyester brush.
- Cover the entire surface using a 10 mm roller. For a particularly textured surface or a ceiling, a 13 mm roller may be used.
- The product can be sprayed.
- Allow to dry 1 hour before applying the finish paint.
- Wait three to four days to optimize adhesion and curing on hard, non-porous surfaces, such as glazed ceramic and non-ferrous metal (bare aluminum).
Cleaning:
Clean equipment immediately after use with soapy water.
