Waterborne Bonding Primer STIX
General description:
Stix Waterborne Bonding Primer is a premium quality acrylic urethane sealer with unparalleled adhesion to the most challenging surfaces, including: glossy tile, PVC, plastic, glass, glazed block, glossy paint, pre-coated siding, fiberglass, and galvanized metals, aluminum, and copper. Stix is also ideal for use on plaster, drywall, wood, and non-ferrous metals where low ambient or surface temperatures are a concern for conventional primers. For use on interior and exterior surfaces, it can be topcoated with almost any type of coating, including alkyd, acrylic latex, urethane, epoxy, and lacquer finishes. Stix is a low-VOC primer that levels to a smooth surface and cleans up with soap and water.
Recommended uses:
Interior and exterior surfaces. Drywall, plaster, ceilings, acoustic tiles, wood trim and doors, Formica, ceramic tile, glossy surfaces, PVC, masonry walls, wood siding, cedar and redwood, wood fences, trim, shutters, masonry, stucco, concrete, concrete block, galvanized metal, aluminum, vinyl siding, etc.
Restrictions:
Apply when air, surface, and product temperatures are above 1.7°C (35°F).
Do not apply in direct sunlight or on hot surfaces. Avoid rain and high humidity during the first 24 hours of curing.
Not intended for underwater use or continuous contact with water. Not for below-grade applications.
Not recommended for use on polyethylene or polypropylene. Stix must be topcoated when used outdoors.
