Do you have a surface that is truly difficult to paint? ULTRA GRIP is the solution to your problem. It allows FUSION Mineral Paint to adhere to surfaces that are generally very slick, such as lacquer, varnish, laminate, painted metal, wall tile, or glass.
This product adheres to all clean surfaces. In particular, melamine and thermofoil cabinets. It is milky when wet, but dries translucent with excellent clarity.
You then apply the paint of your choice. You will, of course, achieve excellent results by combining Ultra Grip and Fusion Mineral Paint on stubborn surfaces.

Can you mix Ultra Grip™ with Fusion™ Mineral Paint?
Yes and no, as you must keep in mind that Ultra Grip™ is a 100% pure resin, so adding paint to it will essentially make it less effective.
It is best to first apply your Ultra Grip™, then the Fusion™ Mineral Paint, which will then bond to the surface of the Ultra Grip™.
Apply a coat of Ultra Grip™ after lightly sanding (180 or 220 grit) and properly cleaning your surface to remove any wax or contaminants that would hinder adhesion.
Ensure you let Ultra Grip™ dry for 12 hours for best results on surfaces, then continue with Fusion Mineral Paint.
Ultra Grip has a whitish sheen for the first 15 to 30 minutes after application. The more it dries, the more transparent it becomes.
This is a water-based primer, free of harmful chemicals and solvents. It is environmentally friendly. VOC-free, non-toxic, hypoallergenic, and virtually odorless.
* Please note that Ultra Grip™ is not intended to seal stains. We recommend Zinsser BIN Shellac to seal stains or knots.
