Description
White Wax
Description:
Museum-quality wax made in Canada, based on a traditional recipe passed down for generations. Homestead House White Wax is made from a blend of beeswax, a small amount of carnauba wax, and tinted with white mineral pigments.
Homestead House White Wax is ideal for creating whitewashed patinas on dark milk paint or chalk paint, while providing a beautiful, lustrous finish. It seals and protects the paint and reveals a whitish patina in the details, highlighting raised edges.
It adds touches of whiteness to most of your projects and applies perfectly to bare wood. Homestead House White Wax can also be used to create cerused-style finishes. It is ideal as a protective wax for limewash plasters.
It can be used in combination with Antiquing Wax and Clear Furniture Wax, both under the Homestead House label.
