Fast-drying oil-based primer Prime Lock
General description:
Prime Lock Plus is a fast-drying alkyd resin primer designed to prime and seal plaster, wood, drywall, and previously painted or varnished surfaces. It provides the finish coat with a uniform sheen and appearance (excellent enamel holdout) and seals even the most difficult stains without raising the wood grain. It can be topcoated with an alkyd or latex finish. Suitable for interior surfaces and can be used as a spot primer on exterior surfaces.
Recommended uses:
Wood—Weathered, burned, or charred wood. Use as an enamel undercoat before applying latex or oil finish coats. One or more coats can be used to seal stains on common wood types that bleed. Drywall/Plaster: Excellent as a wall primer before painting or hanging wallpaper. Blocks common household stains from food, grease, and graffiti. Glossy/difficult surfaces: Prime Lock Plus provides improved adhesion on hard-to-paint surfaces such as glossy paint, Formica, tile, marlite, PVC, and ceramic tile.
Restrictions:
- Do not apply at temperatures below 7.2°C (45°F).
- Do not apply if the surface temperature is within 5 degrees of the dew point.
