Description:
The “Epoxy Crack Filler” kit is designed to permanently seal cracks in concrete floors before applying Passeport Elite or CTM 100% Solids Epoxy.
- 2-component system (2 parts Resin A and 1 part Hardener B)

The surface covered or filled by this format will obviously depend on the width, depth, and length of the cracks to be sealed. As an indication, the 3 L container covers approximately 250 linear feet.
Complete description:
Epoxy crack filler is a 2-component system designed for repairing cracks 1 cm wide or less on concrete floors. Containing a high percentage of solids, it dries without volume loss. It protects against damage caused by water and freeze-thaw cycles. Easy to apply, it adheres strongly to crack walls and remains flexible, thus accommodating concrete movement.
Coverage:
- Approximately 250 linear ft per 3 liters (for 1/4″ wide x 1/4″ deep crack)
- COVE BASE: Approximately 50 linear ft per 3 L (for 1″ wide x 1″ deep cove base)
Surface preparation:
Remove friable particles using a grinder. Clean cracks with a water jet then allow to dry completely. It is recommended to fill deep cracks with sand up to 2 cm (3/4 inch) from the surface.
Mixing and application:
Open both containers and pour part B (hardener) completely into part A (resin). Measure 2 parts resin and 1 part hardener. Mix for 2 to 3 minutes until homogeneous. During mixing, scrape the sides and bottom of the container at least once.
Passeport Elite epoxy-based industrial crack filler must be applied at temperatures between 15-28 °C and humidity must be below 80%. Passeport Elite epoxy-based industrial crack filler must be applied using a rubber squeegee.
Ensure hardened surfaces are sanded before applying the final coating.

Surface preparation
The surface must be clean, dry, and stable.
- If contaminants are present (grease, oil), clean cracks with a degreasing cleaner.
- If cracks or adjacent areas show signs of friability, it is preferable to sand the friable parts.
- Remove all traces of dust and debris using a vacuum.
Prepare the mixture
The crack filler must be activated by preparing a mixture.
- The mixing ratio to follow is 2 parts resin to 1 part hardener.
- Mix each container beforehand for approximately 1 min.
- Add hardener to resin and mix for 2 to 3 minutes.
- During mixing, scrape the sides of the container at least once using a spatula.
Apply the crack filler
Once the crack filler is prepared, it must be applied into the crack.
- Apply the crack filler using a finishing trowel or a flexible round trowel.
- Use the spatula to achieve the smoothest possible result.
- Allow to cure for 3 to 5 h before applying the coating.
Restrictions
- Do not apply at temperatures below 10 °C/50 °F or above 30 °C/86 °F.
- Relative humidity of the work environment during coating application and its
curing must not exceed: 85%. - Substrate temperature must be at least 3 °C (5.5 °F) above the measured dew point.
- Substrate surface moisture must be < 4% during application.
- Avoid applying the coating on a surface at risk of moisture propagation.
- Application of the coating on an interior or exterior ground slab without a vapor barrier is at risk (delamination due to hydrostatic pressure).
- Avoid any moisture source on the coating for 48 hours.
- UV exposure may cause discoloration.
