Description
Ultra-Adhesive Primer for Loft Waxed Concrete
This essential white undercoat is applied before Loft Waxed Concrete on worktops and wall tiles. It adheres to very smooth surfaces: varnished wood, laminate, Formica, melamine, glass, stainless steel, aluminum, wall tiles, PVC, stoneware, marble, porcelain, earthenware, old paint (polyurethane, epoxy, baked-on…).
Preparation:
The Worktop Primer can be used on all perfectly smooth surfaces. Surfaces must be cleaned, degreased, and dry (for stainless steel, it is advisable to dull the surface). Lightly sand the surface and dust it. For wall tiles (ceramic installed on the wall), you may keep the grout lines. However, if you desire a smooth surface, you can first fill them with the Tile Primer & Smoothing compound to achieve a smooth finish.
How to apply:
Apply one coat of Worktop and Wall Tile Primer with a 5 mm roller, using a cross-hatch application. Wait at least 2 hours before lightly sanding the surface with very fine sandpaper (220 grit).
Allow to dry for at least 3 hours before applying the finish
